The Royal Wedding has certainly dominated the media and the interest of people all over the world with the building excitement leading up to the big day.
I don’t personally find it interesting, but a lot of people clearly do.
What I do really find interesting is the fact that they are embracing social networks and sharing their story and the lead up to their day with the world. Their Facebook page has 384,081 likes, Clarence House has 57,017 followers on Twitter, and the official website for the Royal Wedding has feeds to all the of action. Lastly, the wedding will be available to watch on the Royal Channel Live Stream.
I think this is a great way for the Royal Family to embrace social networks and engage the masses.
As an aside, I also really like this T-Mobile spoof on the Royal Wedding.
