The Challenge

HOST Edmonton reached out to zag creative to help evolve the brand and launch the new HOST with a signature event at the Westin Hotel during Taste of Edmonton. Their mission for the launch, beyond the event, was to generate awareness about the new HOST hub, which provides a network and system of support for those involved with Edmonton’s hospitality industry.

The Plan

The HOST brand was evolved with a new logo and website created by the zag team and in order to encourage YEG’s hospitality community to be a part of the evolved HOST. A concept and overall strategy was needed in order to gain momentum for their signature event during Taste of Edmonton. Furthermore, to promote the new brand, the zag team created a HOST takeover at the Westin Hotel and space was utilized during their event and the weeks leading up to it.

The Results

With the launch of their signature event, #HOSTyeg began trending on Twitter in the Edmonton—they were able to meet their goals and more. HOST has been embraced and welcomed in Edmonton’s hospitality community and has become a hub of connectivity and support for hospitality startups and entrepreneurs.
