Social Media Coordinator

zag creative is looking for someone to help us cover social media monitoring and responding for a number of clients during evenings, weekends, and holidays (up to a maximum of 25 hours per week).

Our ideal candidate’s phone never leaves their person and life online is basically an essential part of the everyday. Responsible for monitoring and responding on a variety of platforms for a variety of clients, being able to adapt to various tones and commenting styles will be important. Demonstrated knowledge of clear, concise, and typo free communication is a must.

While there will be limited content development required, the ability to develop engaging content will be an asset.

Account Manager

Being an Account Manager is a tall order to fill. We need someone that can manage multiple accounts and projects. Our account people are client and supplier liasions and work to keep the projects moving internally. They also manage media budgets and spends. Account management at zag creative is more than just project management and detail checking though. There is also an expectation to learn our clients’ businesses and work with the team to develop strategies and materials that get results.

Digital Strategy Manager

Working at a fast paced marketing firm requires keen decision making abilities and excellent juggling skills.

zag creative is looking to add a digital strategy manager to our busy digital department. We are looking for someone who loves to be challenged, is a non-conventional thinker, a great team leader, and is excited by the opportunity to work with varied goals, budgets, and client base.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Experience managing a team and overseeing the work of others
  • An intimate understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google My Business, YouTube and Google AdWords
  • SEO proficiency
  • Experience creating and maintaining websites including managing the process of fresh builds from initial recommendations and site map planning to adhering to budgets and timelines (coding knowledge is not required but is definitely an asset)
  • Developed and implemented online promotions and contests
  • Led content development and management across multiple platforms
  • Built and managed multi-platform campaigns for numerous clients
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with e-newsletter publishing
  • Performed keyword research and analysis
  • Advanced Google Analytics skills

Production Designer

We wanted to post for an Executioner because, well it sounds pretty cool, but we were also a little afraid at the resumes we might see so Production Designer it is.

zag creative is looking for a graphic designer that can help our team execute campaign creative as well as a variety of creative collateral materials.

The individual best suited for this position has a minimum of 1 – 2 years of design experience under their belt with the following:

  • Ability to accurately prepare and send files for production
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas efficiently
  • High level of initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience with web design is an asset

Even though the primary responsibility of this role would be to support our design team and take creative from initial design to production-ready, the individual best suited for this role would also able to think creatively and execute design tasks on their own as well.

Creative Copywriter

Do you look at ads and think how you would have done it differently and better? Well, that’s the exact kind of thinking we’re looking for in a creative copywriter. Words and concepts are your thing. You have all kinds of ideas, and even better, a proven way to articulate them in a manner that resonates.

We want a creative thinker that is also a master with prose. Our ideal candidate is great with concepts and creative writing but also has an eye for detail, an understanding of the Canadian Press Stylebook, and a knack for all forms of copy. From sales copy in brochures to annual reports to web and social media copy, you have done it all. You’ve been writing long enough that you have words you love, words you hate, and well we won’t even get you started on those commonly misspelled words.

Social Media Intern

zag creative has an intern opening in our Interactive department for 3 days/week starting in February. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to develop and execute social media strategies, contests and interactive marketing initiatives.

We are looking for someone with an intimate understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Google My Business. There will also be plenty of opportunities to learn and work with AdWords and Analytics, so a willingness to expand your skills and experience will be key. Office Space for Fort McMurray Evacuees

Our hearts are broken for all of those affected by the Fort McMurray fires, and we want to offer up some help.

If you’re a small business that has been evacuated from the city and need a place to get some work done, we’re offering up some of our space. We have two offices and a boardroom that we’re willing to provide free of charge until the end of July.

The offices are furnished with a desk and chair, and the boardroom has a table and a few chairs. You’ll also have access to Wi-Fi and a few other supplies to help you get your business done during these very hard times.
